Our Expedited service offering includes the following:
- Rapid delivery, generally in under a week, built around your schedule. Expedited delivery times can be as short as the physical time required to drive from your pickup to drop-off location, and are almost always completed in under a week. Select a delivery date of your choice, and we will do what we can to structure the entire transit around this date.
- A direct shuttle with absolute minimum of handling. At your request, the same crew can (if feasible) be used for pickup and drop-off, with the item never leaving their truck. This ensures that your item is handled as little as possible, and that any context about the piece at pickup is carried through to installation.
- Special handling instructions: With expedited transport we place a special set of eyes on your delivery to ensure that you’re set up for absolute success. We’re able to accommodate special requests, such as ensuring upholstery pieces with unique finishes are kept flat (instead of being placed on their side for space saving, as is common in Flex delivery) for the entire transit. Simple crating of special items (1-2 simple dimension crates) is also included in expedited transports over 1000 miles.
- Capable in-home installation: Like every Blue Truck delivery, we’re sending you a crew dedicating to mastering the craft of furniture transport and installation. With expedited transport there is no need to include a local receiving warehouse in your delivery chain as our customer-friendly crews will delivery directly to your client.
Please note that we do not offer a dedicated truck service. With expedited delivery we will work with your schedule, subject to crew and capacity constraints, but the crew may do other deliveries on their way to you or on the way back. We will however do our best to work the entire transit around your schedule preference.
