White glove service via our “flex rate” scheduling option is our standard in-home delivery service level. This is a premium service that includes a high skill, furniture-trained crew who will set up the product for the customer, leaving the space ready to enjoy and providing an an effortless delivery experience.
White glove delivery includes:
- Advance notice of delivery date, and the option to decline specific delivery dates
- A scheduled arrived window
- A call ahead by the crew, and a live GPS-enabled tracking link when the crew is on their way
- Full white glove setup
The goal of white glove setup is the item is ready to use, and the space ready for the customer to enjoy. Full white glove setup includes:
- Placement in the customer’s room of choice
- Removal and haul away of all packaging associated with the delivery
- Product setup, and if applicable assembly (assembly charges may apply)
- The opportunity to inspect the product, and a photographic record of delivery completion
- One flight of stairs is included in the base rate, and additional flights are billed per The Blue Truck accessorial guide.
White glove delivery at our flex rate service level does not include:
- The ability to select your own date, or request a specific time window
- Removal or re-arrangement of existing furniture not associated with the delivery
